Ok I have read and read on suspension setups and cannot seem to find what I think would be best for me. I have an 02 ex 4 door (cg5). I want to buy some coilovers that are comfortable and not too bouncy (wife likes to fuss and i live on a gravel road). I had my mind set on some Tein Street Advance coilovers but they are on backorder til around June and dont really wanna wait that long. Can anyone tell me a good setup that I can get that is comfortable and decently priced? Thanks

Also what do you think a set of Tein SS-Ps with 40k miles on them w/edfc controllers and all is worth?

Thanks again

I ran Tein Street Basis coils for a few months and they were very comfortable. They're also about $400 cheaper than Tein Super Streets. They just didn't go low enough for my taste.

You might also look into lowering springs/adjustable struts. I've heard many positive things about Koni Yellows from people that were happy not slamming their frame to the ground.

I'm on Racelands, but it's just me right now and I wanted to get in the "game" fast lol. But everyone here recommends FFType 2. They have adjustable dampening and will let you go as low as you want. Racelands ride pretty comfortably tbh, but I live in cali so that could be different for someone else.

How many places have you called to buy Tein SA's? Can't be on backorder everywhere.

It's easier to use an image sharing site like Photobucket.

I have only heard good about the F&F type 1. My friend just installed them on his '02 V6. And I think there is actually someone here selling a set for $500 with only 3k miles if I am not mistaken. Think his name is UNFADEABLE.

EDIT: I just looked. He sold them.
