I see you PM'd hilodaze, that's a great setup.

yeah man i know! I've been reading up on the suspension review thread and i think thats what i want but he hasn't replayed. I messaged him a couple of days ago but nothing. someone pm'd me saying hes selling his koni yellows and eibach pro kit. 20k miles though and only a 1.5in drop but hes way cheaper than hilodaze. we'll see what happens.

Eh just be patient, he's not on a lot but he'll answer you.

Also, I would advise against buying shocks with a lot of mileage on them. Springs are probably okay, but I'd buy shocks new. I bought a Yellow/Eibach Pro Kit setup that had several miles on it, and the shocks blew a year later. It will save you money to buy the shocks new the first time, so you don't have to spend money and time replacing busted shocks later. Also, when you buy new shocks you'll get the warranty...for example, Yellows are guaranteed for life so if anything happens to one you get a brand new one for free.

You could go with that HP/illumina gc combo you asked a shipping quote on. He said depending on the price of shipping he could adjust the price. You may be able to get him down to $500 shipped.

Plus that's be a great setup.

Just my .02, but I would always buy new for coilovers/strut + sleeve combo. Like Chris said, you never know when the shocks are gonna blow + some company can do life time warrenty.

Unless you know the person and they bought their suspensions brand new, i would just get some new products unless you find an item for a steal.

I bought my suspensions brand new and I have life time warranty on my Koni shocks. 900+, but it was worth every penny.
