What are some options for colored coolant hoses for our vehicle? Ive done some research and only found one thread of people plasti dipping the hoses.

Will plasti dip work and is it safe to use on the hoses? Are there other options as far as coloring the hoses without having to replace them? Any ideas on what would work in coloring them without damaging them?

Interested to see what you guys have to say regarding this.

I believe the hoses from the 5th gen accord fit the i4 6gen. There are red, blue, black and a few others for the 5gen that are available.

^^ I'm pretty sure he's right. My friend and I were messing around in his engine bay in his 5th gen and a lot of parts were interchangeable. The biggest shock to me was even our air intakes were lol. You should try it out and do a DIY on the hoses. I'm sure a lot of people would love to clean up their engine bays.

^Let me know how this goes if you decide to do this. The 5th gen hoses was an option I was thinking of but not sure how compatible they truely are.

I think Im going to test out the plasti dip option because its a rubber compound that can withstand 200F from the research Ive found. But I'm going to double check to make sure it does not release toxic fumes when near heat.

I was looking at my friend's 5th gen yesterday and we should be able to use their hoses. the main difference was the top hose.
this is our 6gen hose

And this is the 5gen hose. It has more of a bend then ours but it should still work no problem.
