I did a compression test on my Accord tonight. The motor has 165,000 miles and has seen about 12-15 bottles of nitrous (55-75 shots) within the last 25,000 miles. Compression came out at 175-190-190-195. My buddy guessed 145s and I was hopeful for 160s so obviously I was very happy with the results. Seriously, these motors are freaks!!! Time for more abuse :driving:

what exactly do those number mean and how do you know where they should be?
The shop manual says that 135 is the minimum and there shouldn't be a variance of more than 28psi from cylinder to cylinder. The numbers are a good indication of the overall health of a motor. I honestly thought this motor was on it's last leg.

wait, so those numbers are PSIs?
so each cylinder (yours) have about 180-200 POUNDS of air per square inch?
