My coolant temperature sensor is no longer working after my recent 5-speed swap. Is the sensor wired off of the automatic harness (which I have unplugged)? Anybody know of a solution to the problem?

Its a brand-new sensor btw. Thanks.

edit- its a 2000

What year are you? If you are 01-02 you will need a special electrical piece or you will need an after market gauge/sending unit tapped somewhere in the upper hose.

i checked the one on the thermostat housing and it is still connected. I dont believe we even messed with that one during the swap.

(the temp gauge worked before the swap)
