Just got these on CL. Put air in it and there's bubbles coming out of that little crack. Is this fixable? Any idea on $?

Any of those "fix a wheel" places and mobile places should be able to fix that. That is an easy fix. Most of the time they charge like 25-50 bucks to fix a wheel like that, especially if there is not bend in the wheel where the crack is.

If it were me I'd first confront the person (in an adult manner) and tell them you don't appreciate them selling you something that was cracked. However, if you knew of the crack in the 1st place then ignore what I said.

If I were you I'd go find someone to weld the crack shut and then I'd said it and then balance in.

Well don't go do anything stupid and land in jail. Just contact him and ask for your money back or he needs to fix your wheels.

But really man, next time you really need to thoroughly check out the things you buy on Craigslist, especially if they are a vital part of your car like wheels.

How do you know there's even a crack there? You can't see **** lol.

It could just be that your tire isn't beaded correctly.

Yeah, the pictures are pretty bad. I just figured he has examined and found cracks due to making this thread lol.

Would be awesome if the wheels weren't put on right and your wheel was ok.

I'm willing to bet that there's actually nothing wrong with the wheels, and it's either that the tire has a tear in the bead or something like that, or there's crap on the bead seat lol.

Most cracks I've seen tend to happen on the barrel of the wheel rather than directly behind one of the spokes. You would be able to see a crack, and I don't see any crack.

^Thats what I was thinking. Its probably a used tire thats been mounted and dismounted 1 to many times and probably damaged. Would not be the first time I see this happen.
