when I go from reverse to drive or drive to reverse and I hit the brakes I get this poping creaking sound and it only does it once. I can put in reverse and move a lil and apply the brakes I get the sound. If I let off the brake pedal and move back a little more and apply the brakes it wont make the sound. then when I put in drive move forward and hit the brakes I get that popping creaking sound. If I let off move forward a lil more and apply the brakes it wont make the noise.

hope that made sense.Had the pads looked at maybe thinking it was the pads came loose from the metal plate but they are fine.

its a 00 accord lx V6

Calipers shifting slightly when changing directions? Or something like that...I believe I know the noise you are referring to and would say it's pretty normal if its what I believe you are describing. If you have no effect on your braking performance I wouldn't worry about it. Pretty normal noise!

If it isn't that, it could be your mounts starting to fail. 4 out of 5 of mine have gone at 90K miles
