I tried my hand at making my own gauge face, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I need to work on version 2 since the redline area of the tach ended up behind the bezel.

any comments ?

BTW putting the needles back was the most dawnting. but I have an OBD2 scan tool, so that gave me the tach reading. Took a picture of the fuel gauge before I removed the needle. For engine temp, just let the car run a few minutes until it reaches 91degrees, and finally the hardest one was speed, but using a GPS took care of that.

I sugest once you remove the needles to use some crazy glue on the pins otherwise they then to just slide inside the needles instead of inside the "whatever they slide into inside the cluster thing"

Laos the white part is supposed to be a blue glow at night, however the stock bulbs aren't strong enough to have it shine through, I have ordered SMD LED to try it that would work.

One nice advantage is that I got to customize the alarm lights, for instance, the top right light in the bottom of the tach (usually the service engine light: who need that anyways) is now a VTEC light, everytime the VTEC kicks in it lights up, and it's blue. : )

Looks really good, the h22 could be a little smaller but other then that it's really cool.

I was hesitant about the all black layout but it works well with the rest of the interior of the car (which I dyed black). BTW the red needle come from a 2000 coupe speedometer I beleive, my original 98s were amber.

I agree, I will do a V2 of this gauge face for sure, and I think I'll reduce the H22 lettering a little bit.

repped add night video

as soon as I can get the backlight to work properly I'll do a Video.
