Yeah that car is pretty much amazing. Took a bunch of shots of it, recognized it from Club Lexus too. Top notch work on it.

Those are some really nice panning shots. Isn't this your first time using the 70-200? And also wasn't this one of the first times that you did panning shots at such an event?
If so, I'm even more impressed since you got it all right the first time out.

haha yep, I had just got the lens two days prior to the event and it rained all day both days so D1GP is where I was learning how to use it. 
The only panning I had done before was at the PBOC race a few weeks earlier, but that was using my tiny 55-200 lens which was a total different experience. The 70-200 definitley took some getting used to.
