D4 is blinking, but it's not typical of a blown tranny.

I feel bad for lemon, even though he has stupid comments, it's entertaining. He's quite popular on here i see.

You ever fix the code, Shaved? My mom's sedan 02 i4 had a similar problem. Start the car, CEL lights on, D4 light blinks and doesn't stop. Took it to AAMCO and they charged me for a diagnostic, $40. Solved the problem, they said they pulled the code and it was - transmission solenoid malfunction. They didn't just reset it by disconnecting battery cause it hasn't came on since.

Hope this helps and they don't charge you some ridiculous price.

d4 stopped blinking, seems to shift fine. Some reason it's kicking out a vTEC system malfunction code now and the freaking ABS light & TCS is on now but d4 isn't blinking, so I don't know.

Does anyone know the part number for the solenoid? I know theres three solenoids, shifter a and b. I need the part number for the third solenoid. Can't seem to pull it up on majestics website.
