D4 light now on when put into gear

I'm in class right now and as I put my car into D4 the light in the cluster for D4 wasn't turning on. all the others such as: D3, R, etc... turn on. Could it possibly be a bulb? or something crazy?

I forgot to mention yeah my CEL light is on.

If you have a screw driver with you, take the cluster out and swap the D4 bulb with the 1, 2, or D3 bulb and see what it does.

Do what Tyler said first. But I would get the code read cause that MAY have something to do with it. But usually if you have tranny issues the light blinks instead of going completely out.

I thought codes P07** were automatic transmission related.

Ah you're right, John. Just thought I remembered reading somewhere that when a tranny fails there is no CEL, the D4 light blinks and you feel the difference.

Alright, yeah after class I'll go check the bulb first. And yeah I kinda heard/ read the light had to do with tranny issues, but I don't think it does cause when it is in D4 it drives normally and go get the CEL read at 3.
