looks good bro, i am not a huge fan of white gauge faces, but yours at night look very very nice. just need to difuse the lighting a tad

Decided to have a go at adjusting the light diffusion.

The reason the light does not diffuse evenly, is because the factory gauge faces have a specific luminance pattern printed at the back, which restricts/allows light to shine on various parts of the face. The ones printed by Blackcat Custom doesn't have this.

Since getting behind the gauge faces is risky (needles can go horribly wrong from experience), I decided to solder LEDs to the LED bulb, and guiding it in position via it's metal wire.

This was the best position I could get with the additional LEDs. You can see they shine on the 60 and 140 kph markers. Ideally I would rather have them not shining on the text. But it got a bit too fiddly.

Now all I need is a nice set of chrome rings, and hopefully my cluster tweaking days will end before I end up damaging it :)

Nice gauges...how do you like them? I ordered a set of gauges from Black Cat Customs also and can't wait to see how they look.

Nah, the gauge designers for some reason made that red line look higher. It's still 6200 like the US accords.

The general differences I've noticed from the UK spec to the US spec:

* Heated seats (not sure about this)
* Headlight washers + tilt controls
* No amber strip inside the headlights
* A 3-pin diagnostic connector instead of an OBDII port
* A hazard light icon in the cluster
* I4 models have a 2.0 engine, instead of a 2.2
* Extra red reflectors in the tail lights
* Amber reflectors in the rear indicators (as opposed to red)
* Side indicators at the front (no red reflector at the side rear)
* No trim levels for I4s and V6. Just simply "2.0I EX or 3.0 V6".
* Cigarette Lighter + Ash Tray
* RHD :D

I like the color and you did a great job on your gauges! is that embelm on your bumper stock? Im not diggin it... it's a fugly emblem.. :p I think that's the only thing I dont like but it might just be because Im not used to seeing an h badge like that but I think you're off to a really great start! I wish I could have a RHD accord... luuuckyyy!

another thing I noticed... you have headlight squirters! wtf?? why can we come with sidemarkers n things? lol
