Difference between 4cyl and v6 exhaust

It sounds like he wants to go the other way... From a v6 exhaust to a 4-cyl (dual to single, so to speak). Am I the only one understanding it that way?

oh wierd i didnt know that you can get more torque from more back pressure... anyone got a link for this so i can learn more about it, or can explain it??

so does it make sense then to get headers/exhaust for my car or will the gains not be worth it im assuming you get more hp at the cost of torque?

there are just, as it appears to me, to be alot more exhaust systems for v6s. but i guess my idea is squashed, i didn't know they broke off into two pipes again post-cat. basically im an idiot and i need to ask much wiser people like all of you. i wasnt sure if the y-pipe came strait from cat or not. does this make any sense?

ur idea is ok and do-able... lots of ppl have done this fyi

5spdcoupe: header, exhaust, CAI are there to make the whole system breath easier... u'll get better throttle response, and mpg, lose a lil bit of torque, and gain a lil bit of hp... it's a give or take kinda situation..hope tht helps

the difference is like 6inches or so... i had a coupe Apexi WS catback and i got it custom fitted
