ok since you all begged nicely...i will show you how much i haven't done...lol...
In the past year alot has happened and there alot of stuff I've been working on and I'll be the first to admit that the Accord has taken a kind of back seat.
To put it in general terms...I have spent almost all my time working on my cashflow so that I can make this build continue to happen. I'm in grad school and have been working my *** of at work and recently got a new job making a good bit more money than I was before. I could concentrate on the build now, but I feel if I don't give my current job my all then I could lose it and be worse off so...I gotta do what I gotta do.
My current goal is to get the car back on the ground so that I don't lose any important parts and also enable me to have the car sent out if need be. I have that about half way done and am searching for a chassis specialist/cage builder to do the fabrication.
I am currently limited by garage space as to which projects I can do and what I can't do(guess 4 cars doesn't help). I am trying to get organized and make use of the space I have. So I built a workbench, installed cable, and got a mini fridge hooked up. I'm planning on building two more work benches over this winter so I can get more of my stuff off the floor. I've really had to start from scratch on this one since I had next to nothing when I moved in. I'm literally having to climb over stuff to even get around.
Anyways on to the pics...here is my update...or lack there of at the moment. Enjoy...
Have you tried talking to guys who build cages for dirt racing? From what I've read on other forums you can get a good cage built for a good price with the economy as it is right now
I know about a guy that does cages for the local rallyx guys but, with the car having the whole gutted look and most likely being illegal to run in any type of racing class the cage will be looked at more than used. Basically I want pretty welds.
as a last resort...maybe. The thing is that I have some other plans that require fabrication and so the cage is not the only thing i need done. When I find someone who can do the other stuff I want, it wouldn't make sense to buy an autopower roll bar.
Glad to hear you still thinken about the accord, but life and family come before cars for me and will always, good to hear bout the new job! What are you going to grad school for?
