anyone have output shots of these frickin things? someone with a tripod, preferably? :hide:

the output is pretty decent, i'd say atleast 12 feet or a bit more, but i adjusted mine to shine up to about 6-7 feet.

oh and i noticed they gave me 2 different light bulbs, one was a regular bulb and the other had grey on the tip. so one side was way yellow than the other.

anyone find out how to wire the fogs without splicing into the stock headlight wires, making the fog lights turn on and off independently?

be like it is
wut u mean by "wont fit our cars"? i am not doing the retro.. so i guess it will work
youre talking about the circle ones that take 880-series bulbs? they will stick out from the bumper because the radiator support thingys on the sides are in the wrong spot.

from what ive found, the blazers have a depth (from tip of lens to end of the bulb) of 13 cm/5.1", BUT the bumper only has space for a ~5.5" light...ish.

but wtf ever, do it anyway i guess.

half my bumper crossbar things were broken from the previous owners, so i cut all that **** off a long time ago lol

i still dont see why this is so difficult...id do a diy if i had a place to do it and parts to put on.

after looking at it closer its all so cleeaarr now lol i thought where it says stock wires that meant to splice into headlights thanks ryan
np man, good luck  if you were doing a retro instead, you can use a plug on your harness to use the stock 9006 plugs to get a turn on/off signal without splicing. thats how my HID harness is set up.

as a side note, i think i found a bomb setup for projector fogs. i need a depth spec and then i might *might* move along with it. looking like ~$150 though, and thats with halogen bulbs...i wouldnt get HID until i get the retro done anyway :darryl:
