DIY 01-03 JDM Civic Fog Lights

you see thats the thing, i dont want to wire them with my Lowbeams... i want to have HID's on my fogs as well and i would rather not to splice my main lights... Im gonna try 2 follow the instructions to the best of my extent and use a dash mounted switch... I have one on my dash that it has an on and off yet i dunno what it does... so if anything, i will use that.

you can always run them completely separate from the normal system, and run them off a diffferent, non-oem switch on the inside. thats what i was planning on doing.

yea I might do that... the cops have enough problems with my bright lights... for me 2 do both fogs and regular lights.... i will give them something to look at...

I love messing with New Paltz cops... they cant do shyt 2 me... boss' brother is chief of police n i am really cool with him

maybe a kinda stupid question but still gonna ask....just ordered my fogs and was wondering
1) is it a 9005 bulb in the fogs?
2) now im assuming that the bulb it comes with is clear. Now has anyone swapped it out for a yellow one to make the light output more yellow? i know that is surely can be done with an hid kit but dont have the $$$ right now to get another hid kit....lol have to pay tuition

yes, you can swap out the bulb.

not sure, but the ones for the 01-02 accord fogs they sent me are h11's

10x easier just splicing them to your low beams

What if you spliced to your turn signals, to essentially come on when you turn on the dash lights, taillights and parking lights.

yea, and theyll prolly blink too.

and still be bad for the wiring.
