^ yes I too was told by the shop that did my turbo that this is not the correct way to run it..he told me to never disconnect the stock PCV pluming.and was told to take it off asap.
but im turbo,so its another story.

turbos, should have theres completly disconnected from the IM, otherwise the positive presure will force air into the head.

also, i have heard about this issue before finch but i studyed it for a while and came to conclusion that it was still working correctly.

IMO i would rather have crankcase pressure than oil in the combustion chamber

I agree with you 100%, however, with 225k on these seals, I would much rather send oil vapor through the intake than blow oil out onto my timing belt. I'm sure you know oil + rubber = bad.

that i do know, but with over 110k on my engine with original timing belt, i worry about alot of other things than my catch can creating preasure

haha, i honestly cant wait till she blows and see the carnage i put her through. warped head, 3 overheatings, nitrous, super lean/rich.

i know im reviving a dead thread, but no one ever did this, or at least showed pics of the V6 setup.... any takers.?
