Sorry Im a little late, but awesome write up. I kind of wish I did my license plate light as clean as yours. I just cut the wires and twisted them together.

Would you consider doing a kit for the dome light?

There are already kits for the dome light, someone posted a link on here about someone on a Lexus forum making something similar (not sure if it was with LED's or cathodes).

I have not seen cathode dome lamp kits for sale, But there are many great LED ones. I will likely not be making cathode dome lamp kits for a few reasons. One, the LED ones are just as good, easier to install, less likely to break, etc. Also, much of the money placed into my kits, using things such as diodes and bulb socket connections, would not be needed for the dome lamp, so it there would be much less reason to buy one, as opposed to the license plate lamp VS Led's debate.

I was just wondering if there is anyway to do this above the pedals cheaply and easily? Ive seen it done but quite rare.. I always thought a black light would be fun to put there.
