plz no abuse... i use tyc lenses, and tyc projectors... i know how u guys hate the tyc projectors... but too bad... cuz i like it and it looks good in the end...
items used for parts:
pair of tyc lenses/plastic cover
pair of tyc projector
pair of tyc amber reflector
pair of stock headlight
pair of tyc crome metal round thingi... (sry don't know the name)
4 pcs of 4" .25" stainless steel screws
4 pcs of 4" .25" stainless steel washers
4 pcs of 4" .25" stainless steel lugs
items used for labor:
manual saw (like the one shaq and dr. phil used in saw 3)
hand drill
the circular saw that hooks on hand drill
lenses cleaner
step 1:
take apart everythings
step 2:
clean lenses
step 3:
take projectors and take it apart
then
then the main thing is this in the bottom ( if u don't want the z light )
u see the middle... it has somekind of bump...
I sand it so it'll be straight... ( to see the diff. look at my last picture )
step 4:
put it all together again
then wrap with aluminum foils
step 5:
cut/make hole on the crome part of headlights (depends on ur projectors sizes)
step 6:
find a way to make the headlight to hold the projectors
in my case i make holes on the rubber thingi so i can adjust from engine bay
now it holds...
step 7: very important !!!
adjust and aim before putting the cover lenses back on
step 8:
put everything back on...
and voila...
^with lights on
^with lights off
the result: see how its all straight... (no zzzzz LOL)
by the way the color is weird cuz of the camera... i dunno y?
and a bit curvy on the left but in life its straight all the way...
( i forgot to mention: i used double sided tape 3m for the crome round silver thingi and reflectors)
f.y.i. "its tru that the tyc projectors are very low in light out put, but for the price i have to pay for everything are so well worth it)
tyc used headlights $80
lense cleaner $20
everything else like the screw stuff $5
and so...
its way way way way cheaper than using tsx or other projector for me...
I'm happy with the result...
thanks for the other post about retrofit for helping me to start off the project
and thanks for HondaLuver83 for selling the tyc for a decent price...
PEACE OUT>.... (if i miss anything... i am sorry kk)
