DIY Shift boot

*At this time the thread is not completed but will be completed within a couple days. Need to get to a sewing machine*

Difficulty 3/10

Materials needed
- Paper to make layout
- Pen and/or Pencil
- Philips screw driver
- Your choice of material (I chose leather because I got it free)
- Sewing machine

Steps
-Take out plastics surrounding shifter (should be straight forward)
- make template for side and front. Sides are congruent and the front and back are congruent
- put template on back of material and mark it. (Chalk is what professionals use but I just used a silver sharpie)
- cut out the templates

Wow, lmk how well that sew machine works on leather, I have some to do! And a sewing machine ;)

My dad's friend owns an upholestry shop. I like to go there because he's always doing interior on awesome cars. I'll be using their sewing machine which I know work well for leather. Here is some of his work.
