I finally found a place to get sheet metal. I should be getting some soon.

I was thinking about using .40" thick 6061-T6 aluminum. What do you think?

I am making a templet for the parts.........if it will quit RAINING

I got the intake cover template made. This is a rough copy, however, the real cover will be a better fit and will look cleaner.

I may flip the lid where it opens the other way.

And I think you have it flipped the right way up. It will create a whirl wind on the opposite end on both sides

I may just be picturing what I want to see. What I need is a damn splash shield to keep this rain water off mine. Had to remove my wheel wells to make room for my wide 18s. Dang dirty door jambs too!
