hey i was just wandering if the vin numbers on the unit itself need to match the new one i buy??? i keep finding a bunch, just like the one you posted from the link, that are not the same get back to me pleasee

if you're buying a new one, pretty sure if you provide your vin, they can look it up. i got mine from a junkyard from the same model (4cyl lx) for cheap. but im not sure if the numbers have to match.. i dont think so.
