With all of the doors closed, disconnect the constant 12v wire for the "On" position. If the light stays on, then (again, with ALL DOORS SHUT) get a multimeter and check the wire that runs from the doors. It shouldn't have any current going through it if the doors are shut.

That's all i can think of for now.. sorry.

ima try that next

nah.. just a way of letting your frustrations. in all honesty it sounds like a short if you have time, pop off the headliner and follow/inspect the wires, see if any of the insulation is worn through where it could be touching the metal of the car.

that will be the plug that connects to the light that has the negative and the door option correct..

IIRC, isn't it supposedly illegal to drive down the road with the dome light on? lol

OP, there's isn't going to be some kind of "remedy" for this. It requires some basic troubleshooting skills on your part. Just get in there, and use your brain.
The dome light is on, correct? Well disconnect a wire. Still on? not your problem. Connect that wire back. Try again with another wire. Does it go off this time? good, you found your trouble wire. NOW you just have to find out where and why it is getting current through it when it obviously shouldn't be. Whether this problem is somewhere in your doors where the sensors are, or whether it's closer to the dome light, that is up to you to figure out. A multimeter would come in real handy right now, btw.

Good luck man. Please do this and let us know what you find out.

i had some extra time on my hands so i was trying to figure the light situation i traced the wire the the passenger side fuse box. and i checked it. there is constant electricity going thru it so what i did was unplug the wire from the connector. i have the connector from the light it self and i have the connecter from the fuse box. i checked the connector from the fuse box and there is also constant electricity there. its not the wire that goes to the Dome light its actually some where in the fuse box i will have to check know. i will keep you guys updated and thanks again for the pointers.
