I'm concerned that you will destroy your engine attempting this "mod" thustly costing you far more than $60.

But each to their own.

Also, you say you didn't buy the "Kit" but bought the parts seperately, are you goin to use the instructions supplied to someone else that has done this mod already??

Thats how Vtec works.... so by moving the camshaft over one lobe all you're essentially doing is preventing one valve from opening until V-TEC engages locking the other one into gear??
How would you prevent the Timing Belt from running off the Cam Pulley after you move it the thickness of the bearing??
