wierd program? the guy at honda got the key right in front of me and cut it in front of me and said here 25 bucks please no more then 3 min later , and it worked fine

Yes, you have to program the key to match the computer or vice versa. That's how the immobilizer works.

just tried my home depot key..started right up.

wtf i made myself a home depot key and it wouldnt start my car. But i got my key made at a another dealer ship thats 30 mins away from me for 24 bucks and the guys just made the key right in front of me.
