I don't like the look of projecters on a boxy car such as ours. I think it takes away from the look. I do admit the ones you are looking at look alot better then some otherones I have seen. If you like it go for it.

Just wondering because you called them cheapo lights. The OEM lights are by far the best lights you can get without dropping cash on an OEM projector retro. A little sanding and polishing of the lens and they'll make you car look way different.

i was talking about the projectors when i said cheapo lights, since i picked them up for $35 total.

i'm just going to use them as guinea pigs so i won't mess up my oems when i bake them to blackhouse/put LED strip in the running lights.

no thanks!
I appreciate the help in deciding what i'm going to do with these cheap projectors.
Just last night I baked them and yanked the clear lenses off of them. I'll soon polish the lines out of them, and blackhouse the mirrored frame that attaches to the lens, all in the name of practice.

you bought them????? ewww! hopefully you do a lot of modding to them, but even then, I think it's a waste of money. :slap:

$35 total used from a fellow 6GA member, i small price to pay, knowing that i'm not going to screw up my OEM stanleys once i finally take them off and tear them apart

i'm glad you like the gif, it was a fun photoshop project.

depending on what projectors it is, i would go with dark color projectors. the chrome projectors are ugly. at least the darker color would hide the projectors. other than that, i'm sure everyone's answer is to "black house" your OEM headlamp. to me, be creative. i had a white car so i did mine white housing and it turned out great. to sum it up.. be creative. haha
