My head gasket recently blew in my 2000 accord with the f23a1 engine, I would just replace the head gasket, but the engine already has 312,000 miles on it. I’ve been scrolling through looking for another engine and I think I found one I can use, however it is a JDM f23A. Before I purchase it I just wanted to make sure the f23a1 ECU will work with this new motor. Any input is greatly appreciated
Yes it will work, you need to swap some emission parts and i believe the f23a1 intake manifold. Search on here for jdm f23 there is a few threads on it. All and all its a very easy swap, just ignore the bs about power gains there is non.
