Engine Swap Help

[HONDAVACCORD]

I been recently thinking about getting a new motor for my 6th Gen. It has 197xxx miles and has a slipping transmission.My engine looks like its been underwater at some point with salt,rust,etc. and I think I lost Vtec with my car running very funny lately.It shifts hard usually and Vtec hits loud but now its shifts and doesnt sound good and hard to describe.I could sell and buy a new car,but i like my 6th gen.I drive 80 miles 6 days a week for work so my mileage will be sky high soon.Anyways....


Where should I start..I cant swap it my self,I dont where to buy a motor from,etc.

Tell me how should I go about doing this

I would begin by searching the forum. If you are 4cyl there is a metric **** ton of info on the swap here. If you are V6, there is some info here but more on V6P.
