i have a 99 and it folds. kinda funny how it says "rare". it similar very similar to ours. haha

but ours dont have a switch that makes them fold on their own, my fold manual to but thats not as cool as auto folding

98 model years of our cars were the only ones that didnt come with folding mirrors. i dont have folding mirrors, but one of the cars we use at work, which is a 6th gen, its a 00, and it has folding mirrors, and one thing i moticed is that they stick out a little bit more, nothing major, but i noticed it.

my uncle's maxima has auto folding mirrors, which I think are pretty cool. I have a 98 as well and I didn;t have folding mirrors, but thanks to egay I have em and i'm glad I switched over to the folding ones. You will never know when you might need that extra inch of space.
