Exhaust in Cabin

there isn't any sign of an opening in the exhaust? like a piece that is really rusty. keep in mind that where there is an opening could be anywhere around the pipe, meaning that it could be on the top where you couldn't see it.

and mainly smelling during a stand still i think make sense, because if you are stopped then what exhaust is leaked just permeates through where ever it can from the underside of the car and into the cabin, but when you are moving it has less opportunity to get into your cabin because your car is constantly moving away from where the exhaust is released. at least that makes sense to me, i'm not sure if that is true or not

I usually get the rotten egg smell when i turn the heater on as well; changing the cabin air filters made it a lot better. Smelling the old filters made me have rotten egg smell in my mind for weeks.

I doubt you'll poison yourself though; if you're really worried just crack the window a bit for a few minutes.
