what are some mods/internals/ecu etc.... i can make to gain power with my f23a1 it swapped in a 99 accord coupe ..it runs strong but wanna max it before i turbo the car looking for 10 psi ..so i just wanna make sure im preping car right for the day i got turbo
Thats as contradicting as me wanting to max out my daily driver "reliably". But yours is a bit more contradicting because you cant really max it out yet. Only simple bolt on is what you can do. If you build it now and prep for turbo it might be slightly slower depending on your compression if you plan to build with lower compression forged internals. The only other way you can max it out is with N/a cam$$$$ and that wont be prepping for turbo. Or you can supercharge, which by then is waaaay out of the picture. The question is too broad. Not sure if you read up on turbo 101,102,103. If this site is anything like most other sites and your ask this question the way you do someone is sure to come flaming you on here and tell you to use the search button. So imma say it nicely before they do. And someone else is bound to come on here saying psi dont matter. CFM does <--- or something along those lines. Its true. 10 psi in a Gt40 is putting out waaaaaaay more cfm than 10 psi from say a t28 which seems like something i think your wanting to go for. <hint><hint>
If you want to prep it right keep it stock and dont thrash on it, maintain it, etc etc. Keep it as healthy as you can because when you go turbo the turbo will only make your weakest links weaker and truly test the engine for what its got. The turbo give smiles but with smiles it also gives headaches and heartbreak. Like a hot chick. She is so hot and turns you on but then after that you got to worry about people looking at her, wanting to steal her, her expensive *** makeup and expensive clothes. The list goes on and by that time your going to wonder if she is worth keeping. But then sometimes you might get lucky and she will be one of those hottie keepers. But you will only get lucky with her if you do the extensive research and take the time to do it right. But by then its not luck anymore. It becomes somewhat skills. Dont need luck if you got skills. Thats the way I see it.
