The inner seal on my distributor has developed a leak. Even though i ended up buying the seal it needs I simply don't have the time to take the damn thing apart and replace it...especially if something does go wrong in disassembly and i'm left with a non-working car. I've entertained the idea of buying a new aftermarket one but though i'd consider used too.
That being said i'm looking for a distributor for a 4cyl 98-02 accord which is vtec compliant and a hitachi distributor.
Must NOT be leaking from the inner seal or have any issues with the ICM and/or igniter. Must not have any broken screws from the distributor cap embedded in the distributor housing. I don't care how old the cap/rotor are as I'll be replacing them with the ones I have on my current distributor anyway.
If located within the GTA(Greater Toronto Area) i can gladly pick the item up. Otherwise the item will need to be shipped to Toronto ONTARIO M6N 5G3 (CANADA).
As for how to tell hitachi vs tec
On the hitachi model the arm points down, where as in TEC it points up.
