So a while ago I purchased a crappy eBay lowering spring and was going to pair it with oem replacement struts (bad idea). So now I went out and bought a set of Koni's (YAY).

So anyways I want to know some good recommendations for lowering springs/ sport springs. I'm going to guess anything with a 2" even drop front and back would create that "boat look". I think a 230 lbs front and 205 lbs rear is even front and back?

Thank yinz :p

With koni yellows u have adjustable perchs so on the springs u get u can eliminate the boat look with that adjustment. Go with eibach sportlines for a 2in front 1.7in rear or even ksports springs for 2.5in front 2in rear. Or research the suspension review thread.

I never really thought about ground control sleeves. I actually was considering springs with a 2.5in front and 2.25in rear like the ksports because I can get a good deal on them. Plus I would assume they are cheaper than ground sleeves as I am now poor because of those struts LOL

Great choice. Do yourself a favor and pair some Ground Control sleeves with the Yellows. Pretty great setup with good versatility. I'd go slightly stiffer with spring rates though.

Good read:

Quick question for you, I came across these sleeves, let me know what you think, price is right.

My one buddy is thinking about buying them too for his car but with the koni str's, good match up?

Lol yea that was my thought. The "you get what you pay for" is true in most cases. I might just stick with lowering springs :p cheaper haha
