Got a question for you guys. I know painting it will be very expensive, but the thing is I want to make my car look nice.. as a college freshman im broke. I got enough for some rims though. Would you guys go through with the rims even though some of the paint is like that? Only the bumper has the white chips but the front and back sides have the paint peeling off.. thinking also about buying a bumper cover to hide all the chips

thanks

Invest $100 and a weekend for now...

wash, with dish soap
sand, wet with gray paper
prime, rattle can
sand, wet
paint
sand, wet
paint
wash, again-dish soap
wax

no, it ain't great, but it's better
later, if you want to, pay someone

as for wheels, go cheaper like oem, or wait...or, really go cheaper, fit 'n some 17x9 (w/ 215/50 rubber) steelies for a truck would be cool 8)

I am gonna sand it because I got some scratches I want to remove on the sides..that and use a clay bar.

But honestly man, the car looked better red..

It did there...reason for the pic...see, wet ground? Just left the car wash :)

also, the front lip needed repainted, and so did the rear/lower area of the fenders. :/

once you got close you figured out why this car sat in a barn for 5yr before I took over.

I see now. Are you going to repaint the car to the color of the lips?
