How is The Community doing?
I haven't been here in a while, life and problems. Car been in garage un touched Not finished.
2025 Was not for me. Lost my dad, and job slowed down due to a herniated disc. I remember the old man telling me " Are you ever going to finish that car so you can give me a ride ?".... Too late now, but I started Putting it back together.
Hope everyone is Ok , Not sure if members i remember are still here. Cars almost done minus the 6 speed ( I have it But just want the car out the garage. )

He lives!!! Great to hear from you. Remember me? I'm that guy whose hand you had to hold to work through electrical stuff...CL-S seats, power folding mirrors, etc...

Really sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. That is one of my biggest fears. Life is not fair, I've realized that more and more as I've aged. I hope you and your loved ones are getting along best as you can given the situation. Good luck with the back issue, that is something else I've realized gets worse as you age too. A friend of mine has 2 herniated discs he is dealing with.

Still have my Accord, albeit it was parked for 2 years. Having a house & 4 kids keeps my pretty busy (and tired). Finally driving it again though after replacing the battery, power steering high pressure line and pump, rear brakes, tires, blend door actuator, and some other stuff. I never finished the heated PFM's, someone must've walked into the driver side mirror in a parking lot and something inside is broken. I was so discouraged I never took it off and disassembled it to see what is going on. And I still need to tap into the wires for the driver side seat so the passenger side seat can get power. I haven't looked at that stuff in so long, I'd have dig up all my pics. All the convos we had are on my old phone that died (I walked into a pool with it like an idiot while carrying my daughter).

The front your car is looking sharp. :)

Mr. RedRyder Good to hear from and old friend.!!
We will get those seats powered!!
Heated mirrors broke something?, the heated mirror is just the glass with 2 wires... or did they break your PFM?
Thank you.. having a loved one pass in your arms is tuff.
My Back is fine I have 2 small herniated disc on my neck could of been worst, but definitely doesnt help installing lights over head all day as an electrician.

Thank you about the car, you know me I like more oem'ish .... and the car is white now lol.

Welcome back! I remember following your thread back in the day.
I'm sorry for your loss, but I noticed there is a picture of your dad in your original post in this thread, pretty amazing.

Hope all is well, excited to see the accord back on the road.

The whole mirror housing flops forward/backward now. I assume the motor is broken since it doesn't hold position. The heated wires I had a helluva time trying to fish through that bendy loom between the door and dash. And then trying to reach in the side of the dash to splice them in the defrost signal. Or at least I think that is what I was attempting. That was years ago lol.

Can't imagine. I wish you and your loved ones the best, buddy. Really do.

Your car looks nice! I wanna say it was gray or black before. Modifying the coupe lip kit must have been a process. Guessing you are going for the general "Type R" sort of look with the car being white, red emblems, yellow fogs, etc. Did you repaint it yourself?

Thank you Boshi!
I appreciate it!

Ryder I wonder if the mirror is "off track' because once they sense resistance they stop folding.
To fish thru the door loom it is WAY easier to unclip it from fuse box. Yes we where going to connect to defrost system since we dont have a mirror defrost button.
Yes it was primer blackish grey never done so we made it white nothing professional just playing with it. Need to fix some spots that I got solvent pop on. A person that knows what they are doing said maybe I laid my clear to heavy and the chemicals under didnt get to get flash correctly.
Im going for the euro-R look.
The typical ricer red H and the brembos came red. The yellow is the best to actually cut thru fog , but in the honda world everyone takes it as JDM Points lol. Its technically they lower color temperature of yellow cuts thru fog better. Higher temperature like 5 or 6k will be like driving on a cloud.

Once again thank you family doing best. We can.
