fog light install...01-03 civic fogs

So i've read about the install itself, that not my question...

It appears that there is a gap between the glass housing and the plastic holder.....am i looking at the wrong item for my 00 CG, or are they all like this and I just can't see it in everyone's pictures.???

i think mine has that gap but i'm not sure

yeah they all have that gap, even on mine.

its so you can angle the entire housing using the screws on the back while at the same time keeping the rest of the plastic pointing straight ahead, like as if they were mounted on the car already.

you probably won't even need to change the angle of them tbh.

I went ahead and bought these... I'll post up some pics of the install when i get them in.

That's the same seller I order mine from. You barelly will notice the gap on the housing.

yeah once they're on the car you won't even see the gap

its just because they have the lights propped up against a white background that you even notice it.

in real life the entire thing just looks like a black foglight with a lens in the middle.

I honestly thought about buying the clear lens and krylon' it yellow, but I figured I'd spring for the extra 4 dollars and have it already done. I'm getting HIDs too, but am going to wire them to come on when i push the button and not hook them in with the parking lights...cause sometimes i just dont want them on.

how did you get the switch to fit properly. mine is too long and it wont snap in place

I ended wiring the Accord fog switch to the civic harness. Otherwise it won't **** flush.
