my level of frustration has peaked and i am at the breaking point. first i put in the gauges and all went well until i put it back together and plugged it back into my car. the damn needles were all F****. it took me a while to get the needles back to the way they suppose to be, then after that the needles dont f***** light up anymore, besides that the gauges light up and then 30 min later that sh** dont work anymore. i rewired everything 10 times over. the gauges dont work and the needles dont work. im pissed.

for u s7 owners did u have any problems like i have? i read all the post about the gauges here already and everyone seems to be happy with and and no problems.
if possible anyone in norcal around san jose area can fix this i will pay for it.

i needs help

Did you take the needles off when you installed the gauges? If so, have fun. What wire did you splice the power into? So now the gauges don't light at all? Not even for 30 minutes at a time, as it was initially? Check your fuses would be my first guess

agreed. when you put gauges, your suppose to slide the gauge through the needles and not take it out. if you did, your needles will not be accurately. my sister's friend put gauges on her car and now. she's running 3-4 mph faster. haha.

but about lights not coming on, it's def. the fuse. check the 'interior small light (i think)' on the passenger side fuse box.

i wired the gauges to receive power from my foglights and i have an extra switch to toggle the lights on and off. the lights work now its not a problem but i got an even bigger issue. the needles are messed up. rpm is off by maybe 100 and mph is off by 5-9 miles. temp gauges is stuck and doesnt move. needles still dont light up

as for installing the gauges. i should have slid them in from the tip of the needles. why i didnt think of that just amazes me. now its gonna cost me. should i take to a shop to get it fixed?

I loved my s7 gauges. The previous owner spliced the power to receive power from the lightbulbs behind the gauge cluster. You can also wire it up to the fusebox on the driver's side + a ground wire.

As for the needles, the RPM and MPH move freely when off. The gas and temperature needles don't move. I moved them around as I needed to slip the gauges over the faces, and put the temperature all the way down(cold) and the gas gauge to where I think it was close enough. Didn't have any problems..

Good luck man, I loved these and never had a problem.
