Its easier to change the whole front knuckle yourself than to change just the hub. If you are changing just hub yourself, you'll need to replace the bearings too. To do that you'll need snap ring pliers and a slide hammer.

yes better to find a 5 lug complete knuckle assembly for the front and buy the v6 hubs for the rear due to them being bolt on.
the fronts are pressed and needs special tools/machinery to accomplish.
but its a pretty straight forward conversion.

ALL 6g front knuckles are exactly the same. its the rears that vary, but only if you have rear drums, like my unfortunate self haha.

yah i realized this.. but i was talkin about buying the front hub/bearing vs just buying the whole knuckle assembly..
from what it sounds like is that the rears aregoin to be less hassle to install than the fronts on ma own?:Smoker:

i've done a front hub and bearings on a 6th gen. it wasn't that hard if you have a shop to do it in. it wasn't my car but it was a customers car. it took me about 3-4 hours since it was my first time but it was straight foward. i agree that it's easier to just change the knuckle. you won't need to press the bearings when you change it.
