i bought this thing for my accord when it first came out 6 years ago for $200. During the fire in California by the 5 Freeway I got a crap load of ash through the filter which scared me so I took it off. My friends called it the "cheese grader" intake because of all the little holes in the filter housing.

Anyway the good news its cheap now ($50) so you can try it out and if you dont like it you can still use the piping to make a cold air or short ram intake and get whatever cone filter you want.

kinda looks like an intercooler....but then again, kinda looks like your air filter fell outta the box and got lodged in the bumper. either way.. do not do it...
