Ah hell. Sorry to hear and see this. Me and my AR15 are for hire. :lawl:

Whenever I see some jack*** coming close to my car, I think "Get the hell away...this car is worth more than your life."

Too bad you couldn't catch them in the act...

Me thinks I'll find out who did it sooner or later. And when I do, they will pay one way or another.

well how big is ur town?? you can play detective a bit

A) if it happened overnight, then good chances are its someone who lives or stays in the immediate area
B) Look closely at the color. It looks red or pink but like u said can also be a bondo looking color. So that eliminates a good handful of cars and their color
C) its a low scratch so that tells you where the on their car it should be. measure with a measuring stick on how high it is. Chances are its a front bumper of another car if its a 1 way street.

Worst case is that the person is some1 who stayed with a friend overnight and lives 1000 miles away lol. And yes its a bit extreme to play detective BUT hey its what $100 bucks out of your pocket vs. theirs

DAM IM GOOD... watching CSI does pay off lol

$100? Dude it's a good $400-$500 worth of damage if repaired at a shop. As I stated this happened in a parking lot, not on a street, it's primer or bondo, not paint, and I live in Hartford, which isn't exactly small.

this happened to my girlfriends car recently... except it was a college parking lot... the farthest one away from the main part of the campus. Her stock dodge stratus wing got broken off on one side probably by a bunch of drunk kids... i really wish i could catch people in the act would be so awesome. GL to you in this not so good situation.

A while back there was a thread on here about if you hit someone's car, do you leave a note. What is being said in this thread is EXACTLY why you should. Someone's car gets hit and it makes them feel like ****, and the person who faulted just gets off. One person is already a victim, the other person not taking responsibility for their actions is just adding insult to injury.

Though it sounds like you will have your revenge Justin, so I suppose there is equilibrium in this situation lol. Hopefully anyway.

We'll see. I'm going to do some investigative work at 3am in my parking lot tonight. Then if I find the bumper that did the damage, I'm simply going to take it.
