Cool! Good luck with the build. Still keeping it boosted?

Still debating that. Gonna build the motor bare bones at the moment as a proof of concept. If it doesn't work i don't wanna spend too much money. That and i will be able to tune the motor for low comp and share the base map if people want it.

With the H22 head on the F block, the comp ratio goes down to like 8.45:1 (according to the comp ratio calculators). Which would be good for boost. On the other hand i wanna dabble with a high comp all motor build so i can get a little experience with that too. IDK yet what i'm gonna do. For now i just wanna put the G23 together and make sure it runs :p

I've been considering this myself. I would like the dohc with vtec and all that, but i want the solid bottom end of the f23. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure.
Why not dabble a bit with higher compression forced induction? isnt that a little less reliable, but a lot more power opportunity?

i believe the pistons from the rsx type S works... easy way to bump up the compression

Pretty sure ur right. K20 pistons fit in the f block supposedly. I'm following Bolis' G23 build guide. It's the link in the first post. Did you follow pirate mcfred's?
