hey guys quick question im in the process of picking up an h22 head but its from a 98 prelude now.. i have an 01 accord there both obd2 but from what i hear the h22 is an ob2a and my accord has obd2b wtf would i need for the swap? his may be a noob question but im lost can someone help? lol thanks fellas

get an obd2b to obd2a wiring harness... boomslang should have it

It makes no difference. The head is mechanical, the OBD version is electrical.

The head will bolt on with minor modifications, all you need to worry about is the electronics. Any OBD1/OBD2 distributor will work, just remember that the USDM dizzy's are external coil, and the JDM dizzy's are internal coil and also have the CKP and TDC inside the dizzy casing instead of on the oil pump housing.

All this to say, its mostly wiring modifications when it comes to OBD. Either way, the ECU you should run will be an OBD1 unit, so an OBD2b-OBD1 conversion harness will be in order, and you use your original F23 engine harness on the new motor modified where ever needs be. :)

yea im currently doing mine and the only problem is wiring the dizzy to the engine harness
