Hi; Purchased a high mile 1999 EX 4 cyl std. sedan this week (200k miles) Runs great.... but at the gas station, the gas pump clicked off 6 or 7 times. The manual says cause could be "onboard re-fueling vapor recovery system" an "consult dealer".
Anyone have any ideas about where to start looking.

Try a different pump.

Make sure you're holding the pump fully vertical as the way most pumps click-off is when the nozzle at the bottom of the spout detects/sucks in liquid(gasoline) instead of air and hence tells the pump that if it continues IT WILL spill.
