Got my windows tinted!!

dark tint is lame...it really does make it look like you "have something to hide" plus you cant see at night. wtf's the point of that? arent windows made to see through? 
good job keeping it legal...one less thing to get hassled for which is win.
it will look darker when its cloudy outside...and lighter tint looks awesome when the sun shines through the moonroof. theres no sun right now and from 20ft or so my tint looks like its 20% when its more like 35-50% (somewhere in there...it wasnt done by me).
tint is the best "mod" you could give a car, imo.

Tint is nice. I haz 18% although 30% is the legal limit in MD. But I can see at night decent, although i have had to put my window down once to see down a dark road.

+1....I got my Sedan tinted with 15% for $220, $20 of that was for the front strip.

but what brand of tint do the cheaper shops use? as in...how many years before it fades/peels/bubbles? most places give you a warranty but bank on the fact that you'll get rid of your car before needing it. so if the tint lasts 5 years, how much good is a warranty since most people dont keep cars for 5 years?
id rather pay $200-300 to have a good shop use good tint that will last for 10+ years...cause guesssss what? put **** tint on your car, sell it, and stick people like me with the removal fee (like $80) then $200 to have new tint put on.

I think you paid too much. I paid less then 100 and its 15% all around. Well last weekend I got pull over cause some unmark police cruiser pull me over in my apartment area cause he can't see me at night. Well obviously its tinted and its night so you wont see me. In daytime you can see thru it. Stupid cop flash his flashlight at my front window and said the light didnt pass through. 1st time in 4 years that has happen since I got it tint. Everytime I see a cop they just ignore me. Just because Im asian.
