i also agree. Also no one has said one thing about torque. I know the "t" word is not to be spoken but when it comes down to it, thats what really matters and does anyone know what happens to yout torque when you swap to h22? big deal.
H22-158 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm
F23-152 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm
Im not knocking the swap, its undeniable that it makes a quick car but like sonnick said its not hard or costly at all to get the proper bolt ons and head work in comparison to swapping. And who gets cast iron sleeves in their happy meal? not the H man. Come on if you love your accord dont bastardize it with a prelude engine.

Tis true..lol.

Technically yellow, it is an Accord motor..in the overseas models. But in the US, it is a Prelude motor.

To each his own on this topic..some people swear by the H, and give up on the F because it is more difficult to make power. Some people are loyal to their F, but don't do much because it costs a good amount to make good power out of the F without some type of forced induction. Either way :thumbsup:

to say its an accord engine is a plausable statement but i dont know, to me i think the line between the jdm and usdm accord is to blurry. Theres to many models, names, makes, engines and chassises involved. accord, sabre, inspire, tsx, cl, tl. That why I like this site and why i left honda-tech, because it takes the sixthgeneration of the "accord" and defines it. I just wish there were more people building/boosting the F rather than saying hey I love my 6thgen but only because i dont have a prelude. Im sorry i dont mean to push my opinions on y'all i just get upset that all my friends say the same thing "yeah it has a good look but when are we gonna swap that single cam out?"

People tell me that too..to get the sohc out. But you know what, **** 'em. Lol. I actually am, considering I am doing the h23 head swap, among other things..but be the one who proves them wrong. Pnp the head, bore out the TB, port the IM, up the compression, and throw a Bisi stage 2 cam in there..guaranteed you should reach the 190-200 whp mark.

everynight i dream of me and my SOHC frolicking through a grassy knoll but then then the skys go black and all my friends with there b16 civics come and throw molotov cocktails at us and i wake up in a cold sweat. But one day ill prove them wronge and all my SOHC dreams will come true!

Dude..get intake/header/exhaust/cam and tune..and you will walk all over their b16 civics.
