Hey guys so i got the swap done on my car but as soon as i started it it was idling up and down. I know most hondas have this problem but im not sure how to troubleshoot it because i also did a swap. Is there a problem like this that usually happens with h23 swaps?

Alright i got 2 codes for the cel. 1 was a vtec pressure solenoid and the other was a iacv or ecm. Do i need to clean the iac?

Did you do the 3 wire to 2 wire iacv conversion?

I'm not sure what you need to do, but if its bogging at idle, its very probable that it is just the car switching from rich to lean and the IAC not doing its job to compensate the air to fuel ratio. See if you can acquire the IAC diagram for the Prelude and the Accord and I would start there. Is the motor an OBDI to match the ECM? Is the OBDI IAC supposed to be two pin and the OBDII supposed to be three maybe?

The h23 vtec is obd2 but i have a conversion to an obd1 ecu(chipped p28). The iac connection from the harness is 3 wire and so is the plug on the iac.

The f23 and h23a iac are 3 wires, but it still needs to be converted. The p13 and p28 both rely on a 2 wire iac, and I'm pretty sure you can't modify the p28 to run on a 3 wire. I've done this exact swap a few years ago and had to deal with this same issue
