I'd just rock an auto tensioner. but if you want a little more ump, get type s k20 pistons and just install them backwards and rock that 11.5:1 comp! same bore as f23. 86mm ;)
You can, just beware of the clearance issues of Intake mani's in our accord. but yeah most def, 2.5 inch or 3" exhause

thanks for the reply.

that is another reason i want the this build the pistons.

what im probably going to do is get a f23 block and just rebuild it so everything will be new in it and wont have to worry later on.

i was running about 50 and i clipped the back end of a deer.

No insurance. yay for me huh. So its going to be out of pocket

Hood is pretty messed up, bumper should be reusable, fender is messed up, i think the headlight is salvageable? haha jk, and the rad support is pretty messed up.

im assuming the 4dr and 2dr rad supports are different? I know the hood, fenders, and bumpers are different?

What are you going to get though? Not a Honda? Be prepared for repairs.

A newer civic, with MacFailson?

Another Acc? That's worth it, there are a lot of them :D

The damage doesn't look too bad, a li'l spit, a li'l polish, almost like new!

Thanks guys.
Thought ab out a 99 Civic coupe. But idk. Ill have to finance one and stuff.

Im thinking of just slowly working on my motor and body. Thought about the ViS carbon fiber hood. then rest oem parts. I really like the RSX bumper grafted to the accord bumper someone did.

If i get a new core support, I want it to be oem. Guess ill hit up a junk yard and get one? Im sure its not that bad to take off just be careful when remving the spot welds.

Also the frame part alon the bumper is pinched in a little. blah

still slowly gathering parts. picked up a bare upper and lower intake manifold. thinking of porting it?

gotta grab all the sensors off a f engine, im assuming all are the same between f/h.

need a throttle body.

now just to get the water pump and timing gears. i want to save up for cams and a 5 speed.

thinking about getting the k20 pistons.

still open for suggestions

Seems like you're on the right track. Don't forget the h22 crank gear and you need the h22 water pump gear on the f23 pump.

Also make sure you get a proper tune
