Help.. CEL p1457 evap

Has any one ever experieced this code? P1457 ived searched and founf nuthing so doesnt loook to common. Does any one know how i can go about this. Ive searched good and its said it could be a leak within the hoses or 12v not getting to the connections. Etc. I dont even no where it is on the car. googe showed me anywhere from behind the engine till the gas tank.

Are you sure you didn't search thoroughly? There's a thread on a DIY on this forum on how to fix it. You basically gotta replace it since the old one is most likely rusted shut or somehow destroyed.

what kind of gas cap do you have? Some times the gas cap will cause evap codes and that pesky light will come on. Just a thought tho.

P.s. Im being positive and hoping it is that easy of a fix

Yea just 1456 is thw gas cap. The code its giving me. I check the other thread on here and he just replaced the canister and valve. I was wonder if it could be anything else. Like a leak in the hoses or something. I deleted the code so hopefully doeant come back on.
