Yes these cars are not easy to buy, just like some cars you always can't put a price on it by what KBB says. I think the price is not crazy yes I would talk down on the price maybe some where from $3000-$3500 but the car well sell for about that price anyway. If you look around all the other hatch's and you will see that they are not clean or either have body damage or high miles and the sellers always want 2-4k lol.

yeah, it's a very nice and clean cut car. if the maintenance has been maintained, then you know the driver was possibly very responsible. the only downer is that it's DX, i wouldn't even fuss about it being an MT because it's the fact that it's an AT that makes it cost more. if you don't plan on doing anything to it, it's fine. but i agree that it might be better to talk it down. i mean, you really don't have anything to argue against the car if he JUST changed the timing belt and etc.

yeah... no sh*t. I even see some old-timers rolling riced out hondas. WTF? The civic hatch was my first choice for a car, but I have kids so it didn't make as much sense as the accord....

the cx is a stripped down version. 72hp, no a/c, no power steering, no tach...i think thats it. then the dx has 92 (or 96?) hp, and the si has sohc vtec, rear discs, sunroof, and i think 120hp? im probably wrong about the hp numbers, but i know that the cx has 72

I sold a 93 civic sedan for $3000 with 15,000 miles on it. That was like 2 years ago. Well, i didn't own the car, a relative did, but that's what i sold it for. I think it's overpriced as is but selling that car showed me what people are willing to pay, or willing to walk away from.
