personally, i would go with EK civics. i don't really like the older model civics. it looks like trash IMO. i'm not saying it could be fixed up to look nice though. but i would get a spoon EK if i had the chance.

I like the SI and the original Civic you were asking about. See if he'll drop the price on the SI to $3K..... that would pretty good.

i got the carfax for the black integra... clean title, but failed smog once (thus a designated gross poluter)...i also looked at the car just now

the good:

1. new tires (falken ziex)
2. clean interior
3. all electrical stuff works
4. new radiator hoses

the bad:

1. i think there's an oil leak from the head gasket... lots of gunk below the distributor area
2. exterior is ok.... passanger side fender is a lil banged up, and lots of scratches here and there... passanger side door also have 3 pretty big dings

3. front leather seats are f*cked.... a lil torn, so the guy bought one of those seat cover thingy

4. had a leak from the oil pan... did NOT change the oil pan, but rethreaded it (or something like tht)

well, here's wat i'm thinking... i got the price down to $2000... i'm thinking the motor might not last too long esp with the oil leaking from the head gasket.... also had past overheating issues... he told me the car could not go 50 miles without overheating before he replaced the cooling system.... i'm thinking i could buy the car, and swap in a new motor when the time comes... B18 swaps should be around $1500 installed rite? with tht, i would have spent $3500 on a decent car with a new motor.. watcha think?
